*Since I began web authoring in April 2001, I've changed so much content that I thought it was about time for a completely new LINKS page!
*First off, let me link you to other websites I've coded
(all will open in a new window):
---This site (DonnaOnline) is currently my "updated" website. By "updated", I mean it has more complicated HTML format on the homepage than I used on my original go2click site. Since go2click eliminated their free web server, I haven't replaced the four sites I had running on that as of yet.
---East Haddam Venture Crew website. This is a new organization in town that we are involved with. A high-adventure BSA group for young adults. Check out our activities, and photos of our adventures! Address is http://easthaddamventure.tripod.com
---Our Family was another free website hosting organization I checked out...
I didn't find it easy to manipulate... they try too hard to make it "easy" and I found it confusing... I deleted that site in June 2002.
---A freeservers website is also on-line. This is where I'm practicing using frames (a type of page I still do not like, but many still stubbornly use it...)
This free server uses many pop-up ads, so I don't pass out this address.
Feel free to check it out if you'd like, but the only thing not available on this site is a favorite quotes page.
Address is http://mcglinchey.info.freeservers.com
*Well, thats it for the moment. As you can see, I have not as yet ventured into a monthly payment for my meanderings... I haven't found the advertising banners annoying or offensive (nor in my own surfing -- quite frankly I always ignore them...) and all my files still fit comfortably within their size limits. Of course, I'm also not attempting any business on my site, or really pursuing traffic... So to try your hand at web code -- try one of these out! When I make the time, I'll try some others...
*The graphics I didn't create myself are gathered from various free graphics sites on the internet. Where links are requested, the links are on the page where the graphics are displayed. Here are links to some of my favorite free graphics and web-tutor places:
--Free site templates.com
--More free site templates
--Site templates in a Country/Primitive design
--I found artbycheryl.com has a very interesting bunch of original graphics to share for personal home-pages, as well as to purchase for commercial use. I used some on the About Me page. Check it out!
--A great site for web authoring
--Animation is fun to view -- What I've learned: use it sparingly...
-- The Great Globe Gallery on the WWW is where I acquired some of the globe images used on my globe collection pages.
--CLICK HERE to check out my cousin's original graphics site
address is http://venturegraphix.com
--I had a great experience when looking for clips the other day. I was making some book plates and had my heart set on finding a clip of a reader under a tree. After much searching, I just couldn't find one out there. Then I found a site called CLIPS AHOY that offered free original clipart on request (no promises on time, but you wait in line with the other cheap skates, and of couse this is for personal use only...) and they'll make one for you, and share on their free clipart site.
THEY ACTUALLY DID IT!! (why am I surprised when someone lives up to their promises??!!??) Within about 2 or three days I had a note in my mailbox that the requested clipart was posted! Anyway, enough of this long story, but definitely check out this enterprising and promise-keeping group at http://www.clipsahoy.com
--And of course there's CNET my favorite all-around web info site that is a help in many ways -- check out their "stupid web tricks" section for some fun!
*An extensive website that I get lost enjoying every time I look at it is the official site of my favorite author Orson Scott Card. Take a look.
Address is http://www.hatrack.com
*A site I've recently discovered that reminds me of the "Where's George" concept (see George's Travels from my homepage) is BookCrossing.com where you can have a private cyber book-discussion. Check it out! Read and Release!

document.write('');
}

Well, that about finishes up what I can think of to share as far as LINKS go. If you have a favorite site, please take a moment to send feedback to the web master and mention it there. I'd love to check it out!
